A circular walk of 4-4.5 miles from the Inn at South Stainley to Burton Leonard, returning via part of the Ripon Rowel Walk.  Park and lunch at the Inn, aiming to start the walk at 10 am with lunch from approximately 12:45 pm.  Car Park Walkers are, of course, very welcome.

IMPORTANT POINT: The Inn has introduced pay parking to try to prevent people using their car park as an informal park & ride for the 36 bus route. However, customers do not have to pay – there’s a registration number terminal just inside the entrance. They are happy for us to park there while we walk but, when you arrive before the walk, you MUST go into the pub (it’s open from 8:30am) to enter your registration. If you miss out on this, you risk a £100 penalty charge. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
